1. What is the KPEYE Bot?

KPEYE is an automated web crawler that audits automotive dealership websites to monitor Google Tag Manager (GTM) health, identify third-party vendors, measure page speed, and map Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons for Click/Conversion Rate (CCR) analysis.

2. Why is KPEYE visiting my website?

The crawler performs automated visits to Homepage URLs, Search Results Pages (SRP) and Vehicle Detail Pages (VDP) to execute three specific functions:

• Tag & Vendor Auditing: The bot scans the page source to check for GTM containers and tracking tags. This ensures that no unnecessary or unauthorized third-party vendors are loading on the site.
• CTA Mapping for CCR: The bot takes screenshots of Vehicle Detail Pages (VDPs) and Search Results Pages (SRPs). This allows us to map the Primary CTA buttons so we can calculate accurate clicks, conversions, and CCR (Click/Conversion Rate) referenced against our GA4 data.
• Page Speed Testing: The bot executes speed tests to measure Desktop and Mobile performance metrics (such as LCP, INP, and CLS).

3. How does KPEYE behave?

KPEYE is a read-only auditor. It strictly analyzes page structure and performance. It does not submit lead forms, click buttons, interact with chat widgets, or access any private user data.
